We build a MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) platform which enable cities to take control over urban mobility. Senior Frontend Engineer ( Contract / Full-Time / Remote)
We are looking for a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to join our product development team. You will join the frontend team to help us build the essential components which will make our platform robust and scalable so that we can deploy it to municipalities around the world. We are looking for an experienced software engineer, who has proven experience building scalable frontends with the tools and technologies we use to build our platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience designing and developing web applications with complex front-ends a focus on React.

Role Responsibilities:
Build custom user interfaces using React (JavaScript);
Responsible for adhering to the architecture and follow industry standards and best practices;
Working with the technical architect, the test team, backend and UI teams to ensure a smooth delivery of product features;
Conduct peer code reviews;
Responsible for code quality;
Take part in our agile development process and coordinate other frontend developers;

Who we are looking for
Bsc or Msc in computer science or a related field;
6+ years of professional experience as a frontend engineer;
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies;
Previous industry experience with React and Redux;
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID, and Typescript;
High attention to detail, both in code and UI/UX;
Previous experience working remotely;
Willing to learn new technologies;
Excellent English speaking skills (writing and verbal);
EU Timezone Candidates (CET +/- 2)

Nice to have:
Knowledge and prior experience with data visualization (i.e. d3.js);
Experience with Maps and leaflet.js;
Experience building SaaS products;
Experience in building products that are powered by big-data;

Recruitment process:
Screening interview: ~30 minutes;
Coding Task (depending on experience);
1st Tech screening + Coding interview: 60-90 minutes;
2nd Tech screening: 120minutes;
Final interview: 30-60 minutes;
